This lesson plan can be used for several years. The issues will be largely unchanged. It might be a good idea to keep 2 or 3 of the posters students make each year, allowing for comparison across time. Likewise, if the students research what environmental programs are going on through the city or county government, it might be interesting to see how these programs evolve as people in leadership positions come and go.
